Models we have not tested for image input
The 23 of 60 models Else can run where image input is untested. We do not know, and this page says so rather than guessing.
Our image-input probe returns one of three answers, and one of them is “we have not measured this”. 23 of the 60 models Else can run are in that third state. This page exists so that gap is visible: folding these into “cannot read images” would state a measurement we never took, and leaving them out would quietly hide 23 models’ worth of missing data.

How this list is decided
Section titled “How this list is decided”These are the models whose probed image-input state is not measured — neither a success nor a failure, just an absent result. They show as untested in the Images in column on Model prices.
Untested does not mean broken. Some of these models very likely do read images; we simply have not confirmed it, so we will not tell you they do. If you need image input today, use Models that can read your images, where the answer is measured. If you try one from this page and it works, that is useful — it is still not something we are claiming here.
