Why we exist

We got tired of paying invisible bills.

AI assistants got powerful. Then they got opaque. You buy a bag of “credits”, they quietly drain away, and when you ask what anything cost, the answer is a shrug.

We think that’s backwards. If an AI works for you — spends seconds of computing, reads pages, writes words — you deserve to see the bill the way you’d see any bill: itemized, in real money, while it happens.

So we built Else around one object: the receipt. Everything else — the engines you can swap, the tasks that run while you sleep, the limits that ask before spending — follows from that one promise.

Why “Else”?

Your day has a short list of things only you can do — and a long list of everything else. The name is the whole idea: the important part stays yours. The rest goes to Else. Even our mark says it — the corner is yours, Else takes the remainder.

In writing

Three promises.

PROMISE 01Every cent on a receiptEvery task shows its real, itemized cost — while it runs, not buried in a monthly statement. No credits, ever.
PROMISE 02Numbers, not adjectivesWe publish our task success rate — the real number, measured across all users, updated continuously. Marketing can’t argue with a live metric.
PROMISE 03No lock-inSwitch AI engines whenever you like. Export everything you’ve made. Your balance never expires. Leaving should be easy — that keeps us honest.
Task success rate
Live at launch

The real number will sit right here — measured from every task on the platform, good days and bad. We won’t launch this page with a made-up figure, and we won’t hide it when it dips.
