Genspark does a great deal that Else does not do at all. This is the short list of when it is the right buy.

You want unlimited chat and image generation at no credit cost. Several people need seats with SSO and an admin view. Or you want it on a phone.

Reach for Else when…

You want to know what a job costs before you sign up, and in dollars afterwards. You would rather pay for four jobs this month than carry a plan you might not use. You want a dollar ceiling on a run and to be asked before anything is sent or published. Or you want a job to keep repeating without you, accounting for itself every time.

How much does Genspark AI cost?
Genspark publishes one dollar figure that anyone can read without an account: its Team plan at $30 per seat per month, with a two-seat minimum. For the personal Plus and Pro plans its help centre describes the credit allowance — Plus “starting from 10,000 credits per month”, Pro “starting from 125,000” — and says higher tiers cost more, but the figures themselves are on the plan page, which asks you to sign in. Else has no plan at all: you top up a balance in US dollars and each run ends with a receipt showing what it cost beside the engine tier that produced it.
Is Genspark pricing per user?
Its Team plan is, at $30 per seat per month for groups of 2 to 150, and Enterprise is contracted per seat too. The personal Plus and Pro plans are single-account subscriptions bought by credit tier rather than by seat, and a subscription is tied to the account that bought it and cannot be transferred. Else is neither: there are no seats and no subscription, so there is nothing to count heads for.
Do Genspark credits reset?
Yes. Its credits guide states that monthly plan credits reset each billing period and do not carry over, while separately purchased top-up credits stay valid for three months and do carry across cycles. On the Team plan the per-seat allowance is stated the same way — reset each cycle, no rollover. An Else balance is money and does not expire, so nothing is lost by handing off less this month than last.
Is Genspark AI free?
There is a free plan, and its credits guide gives it 100 credits a day. Paid plans replace that daily allowance rather than adding to it. Else is free to start too — no card — and because there is no plan, the months you hand off nothing cost nothing rather than reverting you to a smaller allowance.
Is there a free Genspark alternative?
If what you want is free forever, Else is not it and neither is Genspark's paid tier — both charge once you are doing real work. What Else changes is the shape of the bill: no subscription to keep alive, a balance in dollars that never expires, and a receipt per job. You can hand over a real job and read the receipt before deciding anything.
Is there an open source Genspark alternative?
Else is not open source, so if that is the requirement this is the wrong page and we would rather say so than waste your time. Look at the self-hostable agent projects instead. What Else offers is different: not source you can read, but a price you can read — every run priced in dollars, itemized, with a ceiling you set before it starts.
Does Genspark have an API?
Its Team plan documentation lists API keys among the admin controls, so team members can create them and admins can view and revoke them. Else has no public API yet. If you are building on top of an agent rather than handing work to one, that difference matters more than anything else on this page.
