Everything you need to write about Else accurately: how we describe ourselves, what you can quote, the logos, and who to email. If something here is unclear, ask us rather than guess.

Boilerplate

How to describe us.

Copy either version as-is. Both are approved.

One sentence

Else is an AI you hand real work to — it takes a task from a single request to a finished result, and shows you what it did and what it cost along the way.

One paragraph

Else is an AI you delegate to rather than operate. You describe a job in your own words — a report, a research question, a whole website — and Else plans it, carries it through, and comes back with the result plus an itemized account of what it did and what it cost. There is no subscription and there are no credits: work is charged in real money, itemized, as it happens. Else runs at elsedoes.com.

On the record

Positioning you can quote.

These are the claims we stand behind and are happy to see in print, attributed to Else.

On what the product is
“The operator era is ending. For thirty years, software has asked people to run it. Else asks you to delegate to it — say the job once, and get the finished thing back.”
On billing
“Most AI products sell you a bag of credits and then decline to explain where they went. Else charges in real money and itemizes it, while the work is happening. If a number appears, you can trace where it came from.”
On lock-in
“You can change the AI engine behind your work whenever you like, export what you've made, and your balance doesn't expire. Leaving should be easy — that's what keeps us honest.”
On being measured
“We've committed in writing to publishing our task success rate — the real number, good days and bad. An assistant is only worth delegating to if you can check whether it finishes the job.”
